Because of the fire incident in Shangri-la Mall last April 23, Rustan’s is having a big sale to dispose off all fire  smoke-damaged items.

I heard that the home department is crazy with people on panic-buying mode! But I’m sure they can’t buy everything in just one day, right? (or not…) I hope there are still some good lamps, beddings and accessories left (THE SECRET!).

UPDATE (may 6, 2010): Checked the sale this afternoon before my shoot at Wine Story. The home furnishings department is wiped out except for some table cloths, table runners, and a few pillowcases and glassware. I didn’t bother to go through the stuff in the other floors because I got discouraged by the long lines.
