space matters: inside a z-loft

Written by designfolder on September 9, 2011 – 1:05 pm -

one rockwell, z-loft, condo living

A couple of weeks ago, we had the privilege of having the first peek into our high school friends’ z-loft condo residence in Makati. While the floor area (around 70 square meters) is comparable to most high-end condominium units, the vertical clearance above the living area created an illusion of a spacious interior.

At the second level, there’s a nook adjacent to the staircase which was made into a study/home office. While a large desk was already in place, there’s still enough room for a slim vertical chest of drawers beside the desk and a set of bookshelves behind the work space for additional storage.

The bedroom is also spacious. It was able to easily accommodate a queen bed, two large side tables, an arm chair, a console table and a built-in closet.

Congratulations A & A on your new “home”! :)

Hello! I love your blog! Very informative and I love the photos, too. My family will be moving to a condo soon so I am looking for furnitures that would fit in a small space. I noticed the L-shaped sofa and I like it. Where can I get buy that? Thank you for your help!

Thanks Christine! The sofa is from Index in Ortigas home depot. They also have a store in Megamall (Edia). You can also check Mandaue Foam (www.mafiinc.com) and 5corners (http://www.5cornershome.com/). :)

The space maybe limited in reality but it looks bigger than its actual size. As I’ve notice it looks clean and all the things in there are well incorporated to each other. It only shows that your space need not be so big in order to fit home furniture, dining set and other things because you just need to be creative in order to make things possible. For me such condo is such a cozy place to live in!

I really love the designs. I noticed the mirror near the dinning table. For me it’s perfect! It creates a bigger place. I also love the color of the floor. great job! thank you for sharing these designs.
